Nursery Today magazine

November 2019

Welcome to the digital edition of the November issue where we focus on a variety of product categories, including Wheeled Goods & Accessories (page 16), Mattresses (page 34) and Pregnancy & Maternity (page 42).

November is the month where we take a look at the wheeled goods sector. This is perhaps a staple product category for many of you and one which is clearly about function but also design and kerb appeal. From our mini survey this month it would appear that (of those surveyed) consumers continue to research this category online prior to purchase, with cost, size and weight playing a pivotal role. Turn to page 16 to read more and to view products that are available now to order.

This month our cover hero is Britax Römer. Earlier this year they listened carefully to their consumers, to help shape the relaunch of their rotating car seats in the UK. They asked over 1,000 UK mums, dads and expectant parents for their views. If you turn to page 10 you can read all about their updated Dualfix range which delivers on the key features that are driving consumer’s purchasing decisions.

Our regular contributors continue to bring you articles of interest with Ross Hewitt taking a look at Post-Christmas and why now is the time to get ready, while John Barker (Pramland) takes a further look at the issue of pricing and suggestions for the industry moving forward.

Jenny Kieras (Parent Insights) gives advice on how to engage Gen Z parents and Intelligent Retail’s David Fairhurst looks at how to re-capture abandoned ‘baskets’ with Google Remarking.
