The search is afoot for an experienced National Account Manager with drive and commitment; a sales superstar, dedicated to the maintaining and growing of our existing amazing customer relationships. So, are you an intuitive communicator with tip-top time management powers? Are you more “tell me” than “me, me”? Are you more “game changer” than “game over”? Then come on down to Cosatto. Current National Account or buying experience in the nursery/baby sector would be a ‘nice to have’ but not essential. Very important stuff you would be doing… • Managing a wide range of major retailer accounts ensuring revenues and margins are maintained and grown. • Create and implement sales strategy in conjunction with the Sales Director • Sales forecasting. • Providing weekly and monthly sales reports. • Work closely with the marketing department to maximise consumer awareness This is a full time position which is home based but it is expected you will be at the office at least one day a week or we’ll miss you. If you live near the office in Bolton and would prefer to be office-based then that’s definitely an option. Job Ref 2159 Position Key Account Manager Salary negotiable pending experience Location Home Counties/London/Midlands The Company A premium brand leader in innovative, design led travel products with a clear focus on product education and retailer support. Overall Purpose To manage the top 40 independent customers and some key accounts. Nurture and grow existing sales through promotional plans and events. This role requires a consultative approach, strong commercial acumen and creative thinking in order to maximize sales. General responsibilities for the role:- • Managing the growth in sales and profitability on all range of products with your customer base. • Manage your own journey planning ensuring accounts are covered in a cost efficient and timely manner. • Assist with the preparation and implementation of major UK trade shows and relevant retailer promotions. • Identify any potential areas for product development and product placement within the market and communicate this to relevant departments and managers. • Maintain accurate records of all sales information relating to your accounts and reporting requested information on appropriate forms when required. • Liaise effectively with internal teams in the company Key areas of responsibility • To increase sales and distribution. • To meet budgeted sales and margin requirements. • To improve account cash and profit. • To create promotional plans and calendars. Candidate requirements You will be expected to cover an area including Home Counties, London, Midlands and some key account retailers in Scotland managing the top 40 independent customers. Strong commercial acumen and an ability to come up with fresh ideas are essential. You will enjoy being involved with other aspects of the business than just sales because the company adopts a whole company approach where all ideas are considered.
