Cot death charity and The Gro Company announce new baby care leaflet

The Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths (FSID) has launched a brand new infant care leaflet with one of its long-term corporate supporters

The Gro Company has financed the production of the booklet which will give parents across the country the latest advice on Reducing the Risk of cot death.

FSID director, Joyce Epstein, said: "We are delighted to be working with The Gro Company team in what is our 10th year of collaboration. 

“This invaluable leaflet is yet another demonstration of their continuing commitment to reducing the risk of cot death in the UK"

Advice in the leaflet includes placing your baby on their back to sleep, breastfeeding and cutting smoking in pregnancy.

FSID also advises that baby sleep bags are a safe alternative to sheets and blankets.

Founder and Managing Director of the Gro Company, Rob Holmes, said: “We are very proud to be working with FSID on this latest initiative to inform and educate parents about how to reduce the risk of cot death.

“Our goal is to reach every new parent across the UK and provide them with the very latest safe sleep advice.”

The Gro Company have funded over £500,000 of safe sleep research to date.
