NO VAT increase for Taggies!

January’s increase in the UK VAT rate to 20% is set to make 2011 a challenging trading year

To make Taggies even more competitive in the marketplace Haptic has decided there will be no increase in rrps for Taggies.

Jane Hillary of Haptic explains “new mums and families will need all the help they can get in 2011 and so will our hundreds of Taggies retailers! We have decided to reduce our UK trade prices on 4 January (to absorb the VAT increase) and maintain the same healthy margins for retailers so that consumers won’t have to pay more for Taggies. That’s pretty remarkable given that our original fleece Little Taggies were £12.99 when we launched in 2004 - the same price as today! We believe this investment in our hugely successful brand will help stores sell even more Taggies next year.”
