Real Nappies support Real Aid

Bambino Mio, one of the UK’s leading manufacturer of reusable nappies, is supporting international charity, Real Aid, by distributing reusable nappies through their Mother and Baby Packs

Real Aid works towards relieving the suffering of people, in particular children, who are experiencing sickness, hardship or distress as a result of famine, drought, flood, war or any other misfortune.

The Mother and Baby Packs distributed by Real Aid provide vital products that mum and baby may need in times of hardship including nappies, clothing and sanitary items. At present the Mother and Baby packs are delivered to projects in Albania, Sierra Leone, Kenya, Ukraine and Romania.

Michelle Middleton from Real Aid says, ’We have been working with Bambino Mio for over 3 years now and during that time Bambino Mio have helped us improve the lives of children in some of the poorest countries in the world. Reusable nappies are warmly welcomed by mums in the countries we work in as there is often very little sanitation. Mums are delighted to know that their babies can wear Bambino Mio nappies and that the nappies can be washed and used time and time again.”

So far Bambino Mio nappies and accessories have now been sent in 460 Mother and Baby Packs since March 2007, providing packs to countless mums and babies in need.
