Chicco strengthens Customer Development Team

Following six-months of consecutive growth, Chicco appoints Syrena Bacchis to strengthen team

With six months of consecutive growth in 2013 and a 58% year on year increase within the Independent Sector, Artsana UK, the owners of the Chicco brand, have had to further strengthen their Customer Development Team, this time with the recruitment of Syrena Bacchis. Syrena recently took responsibility for the Independent nursery retailers in the South of England, bringing with her a wealth of experience within the sales environment.

Natalie Jackson, Artsana National Field Sales Manager, commented: “Syrena’s understanding of Nationals, Independents and Wholesale provides her with a plethora of knowledge of various retailer environments and opportunities. With her existing experience of the industry and being a mum of two young children, Syrena can identify with the products and is already supporting her retailers with her excellent customer focused approach.”

Natalie continued to emphasise that, "Artsana is going from strength to strength across both nursery and toys via great products, promotions, a major brand campaign and excellent Christmas consumer toy activity".

Most recent NPD data puts the Chicco brand up 14% in nursery and a staggering +94% in toys, showing Chicco is certainly bucking the market trends. Natalie, Syrena & the rest of the Artsana Team will have much to discuss with retailers for the rest of 2013!
