Exciting new developments for Harrogate

The countdown is now on to the UK’s only nursery trade show – Harrogate Nursery Fair – which takes place in less than two months from 24th to 26th March and for anyone involved in the baby products industry; this is a not-to-be-missed event

Once again, the show is completely sold out, so visitors will be spoilt for choice with eight halls of the Harrogate International Centre packed to bursting with exciting new product ranges.

There are numerous new developments for the show this year including a North American Pavilion with 10 participating US companies launching into the UK market for the first time. Representatives from China will also be attending with a view to staging similar country specific Pavilions in the future. In fact, Harrogate Nursery Fair now boasts a truly international event, with 20 countries exhibiting in 2013 and looks set for an influx of new international visitors too.

Harrogate also continues to work closely with the Baby Products Association and will be hosting its Concept & Innovation Awards for the first time. Again, this is an exciting development for the show and for the winners – which will be announced on the Concept & Innovation Stand in Hall G on Monday 25th March – is the culmination of many months of anticipation.

The BPA will also be staging its Baby and Nursery Trade Awards (BANTAs) – sponsored by NURSERY TODAY magazine, which are open to entry for all companies exhibiting at the show and gives visitors the opportunity to view those products which, in the judges’ opinion, are the most outstanding at the show. The winners of these prestigious awards will be announced at the Party & BANTA Awards night which takes place at the Majestic Hotel on Sunday 24th March. This is a fantastic evening of celebration and entertainment with live music from Take That 2, a live backing group and better stage effects than ever before. Tickets to this event generally sell out fast, so if you are hoping to attend, contact the show organising team as soon as possible.

Finally, if you are interested in the latest nursery industry market trends, market research company NPD will be giving an eye-opening presentation at 8.45am on Monday 25th March. Andrew Griffiths and Jez Fraser-Hook will share some actual top line findings from full year 2012 data in the UK, including some interesting facts and figures. This is free to attend and open to all.
