Mercury Events and Nurofen for Children team up for 2013

The Baby & Toddler Show are proud to announce a new headline partnership agreement with Nurofen for Children for all their events in 2013

Mercury Events, organisers of the Baby & Toddler Shows supported by Emma’s Diary, has proudly announced a headline partnership agreement with Nurofen For Children for all of their 2013 events. This follows their launch in Manchester on 27-29 September at EventCity, to serve the significant catchment of affluent North-West mums.

Show Director Rob Collins is excited about the growth of the events, “We are delighted to announce this headline partnership with a major brand like Nurofen For Children. The shows are growing fast and this is a significant landmark in their development. Nurofen For Children recognise the power of the face-to-face opportunities we are creating with new mums and the extraordinary marketing channel the Baby & Toddler Shows offer at a time when traditional and ’new’ media in the sector is struggling to meet brands’ objectives.”

The next Baby & Toddler Show takes place at Glow, Bluewater on 19-21 April, with just a few stands remaining. Major hardware brands including iCandy, Silver Cross, Joolz, Bloom, Cosatto, Bugaboo, Mamas & Papas, Britax, and Meego are participating with exclusive wheeled goods retail partner Baby Planet.

Mercury Events’ commitment to limiting the total number of exhibitors at each show with tight management of categories to ensure a balanced exhibitor mix and increased return on investment for participants has attracted many new companies to the upcoming April event. New exhibitors include Close Parent, PHP Gift & Baby, Little Saints, Indigo Jamm and Vital Baby joining returning companies including Cheeky Rascals, Brother Max, Bambino Mio, Baby Price, Morrck and the majority of the exhibitors at the inaugural autumn 2012 show.

Rob Collins concludes, “Our strategy of launching affordable, high quality, major events in regions not fully served by major baby shows is proving highly successful in reaching thousands of new mums who don’t visit any other major baby event.

By focussing on providing a fantastic return on investment for all our exhibitors rather than maximising the size of the shows we are attracting companies who are looking for a more cost-effective sales and marketing channel.”
