Kiddy appoints new UK Marketing & PR Manager

Family owned German manufacturer, Kiddy, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jackie Stainer as UK Marketing & PR Manager

Kiddy launched its award winning child car seat range in the UK in 2009 and has quickly established its reputation as manufacturer of extremely safe, easy to use, comfy, lightweight products which are available in a striking choice of fashionable fabric designs.

Kiddy is best known for its Group 1, 2, 3 car seats which, thanks to cutting edge technology and innovative design, literally grow with the child and are suitable from approx. 9 months to approx. 12 years (9 – 36kg). Current models include the Kiddy Guardianfix Pro 2 and Kiddy Guardian Pro 2, both having been awarded Which? Best Buys.

Kiddy is also renowned for its original impact shield used in the Group 1 stage (9-18kg. Approx. 9 months – approx. 4 years). The Impact shield acts as a physical barrier that sits across the child’s stomach and is secured by the in car seat belt. In the case of an accident, the Kiddy impact shield absorbs the energy from impact away from the child, as well as significantly reducing the risk of serious neck injury. For older children, in Groups 2, 3 the unique ‘KSA’ Kiddy Shock Absorbers, which are hidden in the base of the seat, offer a crumple zone safety element, by drawing damaging forces away from the child and into the seat shell in a crash.

More recently, Kiddy has increased its product range to include strollers, back carriers and a wide choice of accessories all to the same high standards.

Jackie was previously responsible for social networking and online marketing and advertising for Kiddy. Previous to this she was Consumer Marketing Director for McCluskey International responsible for advertising and marketing campaigns for a wide range of destinations including the Maldives, Ontario and Piedmont. Jackie has also worked as Affinity Marketing Manager for Sainsbury’s Supermarkets which gives her a good retail marketing background.
