Premium brand supplier seeks product trainer

An opportunity has arisen for a talented and enthusiastic product trainer at a premium brand supplier of baby products

The successful candidate will be bright and articulate, with good presentation and communication skills. A passion for retail and sales, and the ability to think commercially is essential, as is a genuine enjoyment of delivering product training.

If you think you could be a viable candidate, you will be expected to co-ordinate the training of customers in the southern region. This is a challenging role which will require the building of strong business relationships with the retailers and their teams of sales people. It is imperative that you have a passion for training and see this as your career path for the foreseeable future.

You will need to be willing to spend your week on the road, visiting the stores in your area and making sure that the retailers are fully trained and prepared to be confident, informed and passionate when talking to their customers about the product ranges.

Experience gained within a retail environment, or time working in sales training is preferred and will be beneficial. But fundamentally you will need an engaging, energetic, confident approach, with a self-motivated attitude, and happy to work autonomously.

Main Responsibilities:

To liaise and arrange appointments with customers for product training sessions.

To plan and organise both economical and cost effective journey plans, including all accommodation required.

To prepare for and attend all UK and European Trade shows when required.

To manage the requirement of samples and point of sale materials for training events.

To provide contact reports to the Sales Training Manager to ensure effective management and co-ordination of the training programmes.

To provide the Sales Training Manager with monthly reports on all training activity undertaken, advising of any issues or key areas of interest that may be beneficial to the organisation.

To provide reports of journey plans and appointments made to the Sales Training Manager on a weekly basis.

To notify the Quality Manager of any defective products found. To report back to relevant departments within the company, all positive and negative feedback received on any products currently in the market place.
