Mercury Events have announced today that, for the first time in the UK, a consumer baby show will be promoted via an advertising campaign on terrestrial television

Show Director, Rob Collins said: "We are delighted to announce we will be working with ITV Granada to promote the new Baby & Toddler Show in the North West. Our adverts will run during prime time slots including Emmerdale and Coronation Street. We already have partnerships booked with the five major radio stations serving the region, the Manchester Evening News, Liverpool Echo plus a major outdoor campaign targeting wealthy towns and villages in Cheshire and South of Manchester."

Collins continues: "Shows run in this region in the past have simply not been given the attention or investment required for them to run to their true potential. Our major broadcast plans combined with the established strategic relationships we have with key baby and pregnancy media including Emmaís Diary, Babycentre , Mummy & Me Magazine, the NHS and the NCT mean we will get a huge audience at this show on 27 to 29 September. There is no better place to promote and sell pregnancy, baby and nursery product this autumn."

Brands already confirmed as exhibiting include Bepanthen, Mamas & Papas, Vital Baby, Mabyland, Cosatto, Joolz, iCandy, Yoomi, Bambino Mio, Baby Jogger, Morrck, Quinny, Mee-Go, Cheeky Rascals, Bugaboo, Mima, Nurofen for Children, Maxi-Cosi and Silver Cross.

Mercury Events also run the highly-acclaimed Baby & Toddler Show at Bluewater which next runs from 11 to 13 October 2013.
