Chicco celebrates festive joy -

with the Wheel of Happiness after double digit growth

One of the leading baby specialists Chicco is celebrating after achieving a massive growth in sales of toys of +89%, even in a declining market of -2%. Not one to rest on its laurels, Chicco has continued to build on this impressive growth and has unveiled details of its 2013 Christmas Toys campaign, which will centre around a ‘Wheel of Happiness’.

The fantastically fun way of rewarding anyone who spends over £20 on Chicco toys will be launched on 14th October. The Wheel of Happiness is an online game that Chicco customers can also play online, on their mobiles or at home by visiting www.ChiccoWheelofHappiness.co.uk. Visitors to the Kensington Olympia Baby Show will also be able to play at the stand. Everyone who plays will receive a gift to say thank you for choosing Chicco, so Christmas will come early for anyone buying Chicco toys!

There are £½ million of amazing gifts on offer, from family adventures to Disneyland Paris, to magical memory books, Venture photography sessions and thousands of Chicco toys. The campaign is running until 31st December, so Chicco customers have plenty of time to spin the wheel and claim their gift.

The Wheel of Happiness campaign has been developed by Chicco to further support its retailers and make Christmas special for Chicco, and their retailers’ customers.

Chicco will be supporting the retailer every step of the way with an integrated campaign executed both in-store and online, including a dedicated microsite and mobile site. This makes it hassle free for retailers to get involved.

Explaining more about the campaign, Giulia Toselli, UK Strategy and Brand Manager for Chicco UK, said: “We’re very excited to be running our Christmas Toys campaign for the second year in a row. What is great about the Wheel of Happiness is that everyone who buys £20 worth of Chicco toys will get an extra gift, so we are giving something back to say thank you for being a Chicco customer.

“With £1/2 million of gifts, including great days outs, trips away and Chicco toys, we're confident that shoppers will choose Chicco to benefit from the great Wheel of Happiness this Christmas.

“As with all of our campaigns, we will involve our trade customers with the help of bespoke POS materials to promote the Wheel of Happiness and drive sales during this key time of year.”
