Two great speakers set for FLIP career development networking event

GREAT career advice will be shared at LIMA's second FLIP networking event for junior licensing professionals.

Focusing on how to develop a successful career and find peer-to-peer support within the licensing community are the aims of the event at the Dana Centre Café adjacent to the Science Museum in Queen's Gate, London, from 5.30-7.30pm on Wednesday, September 28.

At the centre of the FLIP - Future LIMA Industry Professionals - evening will be a talk by Victoria Saint, head of publishing and video games EMEA for Turner, Cartoon Network Enterprises, who will be drawing on her career in brand and entertainment properties to give attendees insights and advice on how to succeed in licensing.

Anya Hollis, the Science Museum Group  head of commercial development B2B, will also give advice, following which there will be an opportunity for attendees to have a drink and network with others within the licensing community.

FLIP remains a key element in LIMA's mission to educate professionals about the industry and to support people in their licensing careers.

Ryan Beaird, UK programme leader for FLIP, said: "This is the second London FLIP networking event and this year we've decided to give people something new by giving them exclusive access to two of the industry's successful players, letting them get a real insider's knowledge into what it takes to progress in this internationally focused industry."
Tickets are £10, including refreshments and access to the Science Museum's Lates Event starting immediately after.
