Second seal of approval

My 1st Years receive second royal seal of approval

Children’s gift brand My 1st Years are thrilled to announce they have been awarded a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the Innovation category for 2019. This comes after Prince George was infamously spotted wearing one of their robes.

The prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise recognises outstanding achievement by a UK business, and is testament to the huge successes achieved by My 1st Years and its Co-Founders Daniel Price and Jonny Sitton. Granted the award for Innovation, My 1st Years are now a proven leader in the field of personalisation, being the very first children’s brand in the UK with fully automated personalisation offering next day delivery.

My 1st Years have long been the go-to for personalised gifts which create lasting memories and can be treasured for years to come. Their vast range of toys, blankets, clothing, bath and home accessories all embody luxurious quality but at an affordable price point.

This is not the first Royal seal of approval My 1st Years has received, following the huge influx of sales of their Personalised Blue Gingham Robe after Prince George was spotted wearing it when he met President Obama in 2016 – the robe sold out within 7 minutes, and when available again for pre-order sold up to 1 per second!

My 1st Years Co-Founder Daniel Price comments; ‘We are honoured to have been awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the Innovation category. To be so highly recognised for our work is a career highlight for me and the fact it is nearing our tenth anniversary makes it even more special. Jonny and I founded My 1st Years after identifying a unique gap in the market and created our very first pair of personalised baby shoes for a friend. Since then we have grown exponentially. To be expanding so rapidly and creating a substantial number of new jobs in the process is a fantastic feeling. If you’d told us ten years ago when we were best mates at university that we’d be heading to the Palace to receive an award, we wouldn’t have believed you! It’s truly an incredible honour and it will have pride of place in the My 1st Years HQ.'
