Baby & Toddler Shows focus on investment

Organiser Mercury Events has moved to clarify its 2014 plans following speculation of new launches in the pipeline

Mercury has grown the portfolio of Baby & Toddler Shows to four in 2014 and Show Director Rob Collins explains after a year of impressive growth they will not be launching additional shows in the foreseeable future.

“Our intention was always to establish strong shows in key new regions untapped by other quality major baby events. We have achieved this and now is the time to concentrate our efforts and investment solely on continuing to improve these shows even further rather than extending the family.” By capping the total number of exhibitors and the number in each category, Mercury ensure competition is limited and that exhibitors trade well.
Rob continues, “Companies and brands looking to reach consumers directly as part of a sales and marketing strategy can now plan their 2014 activity with confidence. We believe we offer the highest return, best value consumer events in the UK but will spend 2014 focussing our efforts and financial investment in making them even better.”

The shows are all open for bookings now and are running in spring and autumn in both venues. The spring shows are at least two thirds full so interested companies are advised to enquire as soon as possible:
EventCity, Manchester, 7-9 March
Glow, Bluewater 25-27 April
EventCity, Manchester, 26-28 September
Glow, Bluewater 10-12 October
