BABYBJÖRN making a difference

The Swedish family-owned company BabyBjörn  has chosen to make a difference in a different way on Black Friday.

This year Black Friday is on 25 November, a day which is growing in popularity in many parts of the world. The day is best known in the US and has, in recent years, become the most important and biggest shopping day of the year with many offers and promotions for customers to take advantage of. It is also the day when the holiday season officially begins and many families start to decorate their homes for Christmas.

BabyBjörn want to do something different and has taken the opportunity to give something back. The company has chosen to donate 50% of their online sales on Black Friday this year (generated from their own web shops) to support charity, Save the Children.

“For us it feels very important and obvious to do this. Through this initiative we support, many children around the world. Save the Children's efforts are necessary and there is a lot we, as companies, can do to help.” says Ulf Ingemarsson, CEO of BabyBjörn.
