Baby’s Back in Town!

The Baby Show returns to Birmingham NEC
18th – 20th May

The Baby Show, with MadeForMums, is set to return to the Birmingham NEC in May.  Taking place from Friday 18th until Sunday 20th, the event will showcase the latest innovations on the baby market, provide a wealth of expert advice and offer an incredible one-stop-shop for those shopping for their new arrivals – including the UK’s biggest range of prams, buggies and car seats all under one roof!

The Show will feature over 200 exhibitors offering a choice of baby brands and products from the likes of iCandy, Tommee Tippee, Aldi Mamia, Stokke, Skip Hop, Britax and Chicco – as well as dozens of not-on-the-high-street brands.  There will be an incredible array of exclusive show discounts, competitions and freebies.

Key highlights at the NEC this year include the MadeForMums buggy testing track where parents can try out their favourite buggies, the fully equipped Tommee Tippee Feeding Area, which provides free food from Aldi Mamia for babies and toddlers and Drive and Go With Peg Perego, where toddlers get the chance to experience the adventure of Peg Perego’s world leading battery ride-on toys.  Aldi Mamia are sponsoring the changing area, providing free nappies and wipes, while the Emma’s Diary Shop & Drop area will offer an excellent Collect-by-Car service.

There will be a fantastic line-up of speakers taking to the stage including cookery author and weaning specialist, Annabel Karmel MBE, The Sleep Nanny Lucy Shrimpton, breastfeeding expert Clare Byam-Cook, Founder of The Positive Birth Movement and author of The Positive Birth Book, Milli Hill, the British Red Cross’ Tracey Taylor, sleep experts Andrea Dean and Chireal Shallow, midwife Lesley Gilchrist -  and many more.

Wing Yan Lee, Marketing Manager at The Baby Show says: “We are very excited about bringing The Baby Show to the NEC for our 16th year.  The feedback we get from visitors who travel from all over the UK to attend is brilliant.  To have so many fantastic baby brands all in one place, offering exclusive on-site offers, is so useful, particularly for those getting to grips with what they’ll need for the very first time.  Whether you’re shopping for a buggy, a cot, feeding chair, a car seat or toys and accessories you’ll find an abundance of options to choose from.”

The Show will be joining forces with the NCT to raise awareness of the help they provide to new and expectant parents.  As well as having a stand, they will host a selection of antenatal and postnatal classes across the weekend which will help new parents prepare for birth and those early days with a newborn.  The NCT has become a lifeline to hundreds of thousands of parents over the past 60 years and they will have practitioners on hand throughout the show to offer information and raise awareness of the fantastic courses on offer and visitors can try out short taster sessions at the show.
