The winners of the Innovation Award are traditionally announced on the first trade fair day of Kind + Jugend. Eight companies from six countries were able to claim the coveted trophies in eight categories. The jury, consisting of international trade journalists, safety and industry experts, honoured innovation, technology, functionality and design. Nearly 200 products from 27 countries were submitted this year for the Innovation Award, meaning around 18 percent more than for 2017. Thirty-three products were nominated. All winners and nominations will be exhibited in an attractive special event during the trade fair.
