Britax unveiled first Snapchat filter

Bespoke branded Snapchat geofilter available exclusively at The Baby Show Olympia, offering visitors the chance to win a BABY-SAFE i-SIZE infant carrier.

Britax launched a bespoke Snapchat geofilter exclusively for this year’s Baby Show, which took place at London’s Olympia on 21-23 October.

A social first for Britax, visitors were able to select the new filter to take part in a competition to win their brand new BABY-SAFE i-SIZE infant carrier.
With a growing number of consumers continuing to adopt and use Snapchat, Britax created the filter to celebrate the launch of its first i-SIZE car seat. The platform has seen a 588% increase on users who are mums in recent months and Britax used its bespoke geofilter at this year’s Baby Show Olympia to engage with this highly influential audience.

Bengi Bingol Yalcin, Marketing Manager of Britax UK said, “We wanted to give visitors something different at this year’s Baby Show whilst also celebrating the launch of the BABY-SAFE i-SIZE infant carrier. Snapchat offers us the opportunity to experiment and reach a wider audience of millennial parents, mums in particular.”

The BABY-SAFE i-SIZE infant carrier is designed with Britax’s renowned crash testing capabilities and research and conforms to the new car seat regulation ECE R129 (i-Size), suitable for newborns up to 15 months, with 83cm of space. The BABY-SAFE i-SIZE can be used with one of two new bases, including a one-of-a-kind FLEX BASE that allows parents to adjust the angle, providing an ergonomic, flatter position for their baby.
