Children's Fashion Cologne cancelled for the time being

Children's Fashion Cologne, which was staged twice a year in the German city up until now, the next edition of which had been announced for July 2015, is taking a time-out.

"Since the capacities of our fair grounds are fully utilised in the spring due to diverse major events, we are currently not able to offer an optimum venue date for the children's fashion industry," commented Katharina Hamma, Chief Operating Officer. "However in the fashion industry, the spring events are traditionally an important cornerstone for the economic success, which is why we have come to this decision," added Hamma. The two editions of Children's Fashion Cologne, one in the spring and one in the summer, are to be considered as the holistic event concept. The decision is the result of intensive exploratory discussions, which were held between Koelnmesse and the industry over the past few months.

Most recently, Children's Fashion Cologne heralded in the new fashion season in January 2015 as a kick-off event with a high-quality ambiance. Around 180 labels were presented. Over the three days of the trade fair around 1,300 trade visitors from 35 countries used the trade fair for children's, baby and maternity fashion and accessories for their order business and to establish new business contacts.
