Four star success for Maxi-Cosi

Maxi-Cosi’s RodiFix AirProtect and Citi awarded four-star rating with strong scores in safety, ease-of-use and ergonomics

Maxi-Cosi’s RodiFix AirProtect and Citi have been awarded a 4-star “good” overall rating in the Spring 5/2016 tests independent institutions ADAC, TCS, ÖAMTC and STIWA.

The results confirm brand owner Dorel Juvenile's ability to proudly continue delivering quality products under the Maxi-Cosi label, not only within the brand's i-Size range - including the Pebble Plus, 2wayPearl and AxissFix - but also within the ECE R44 segment, such as the Tobi.

The RodiFix AirProtect is Maxi-Cosi's most advanced child car seat that seats children from 15-36 kg. It was the highest score of all child car seats in the 5/2016 test for ease-of-use. The 4-star rating is also linked to a “good” level of safety and ergonomics, mainly thanks to the advanced safety and comfort features involved - such as the patented AirProtect-technology and an ISOFIX installation. All fabrics used are child-friendly, which tests in the chemicals category confirmed.

Maxi-Cosi's baby car seat Citi was launched in 2015, and is designed to provide reliable safety in the budget price range. The lightweight car seat scored highly safety, ease-of-use and ergonomics, and also fully passed the chemicals test, reassuring consumers that all textiles used are child-friendly.

This reward underlines Dorel Juvenile's expertise and leading position in the baby car seat segment. On the product level, it confirms that the Citi car seat offers impressive levels of safety, despite being a more competitively priced model. In other words: great value for money.
