Innovation Makers strolling to awards success

Having secured funding through an equity crowdsourcing platform and winning Business Start-Up, Samantha and Markus Warwick now plan to display OmniO Rider at the International Nursery Fair in Harrogate later this month where it is a finalist in the Baby Products Association’s Concept & Innovation Awards.

The business was judged upon its originality, market viability and achievements to date, as Keith Brereton, Director of Centre for Business and chairman of the judging panel for the Start Up Business, commented: “This Business identified a gap in the marketplace when they experienced difficulty in sourcing a product that satisfied their demand and lifestyle. They developed the business idea, innovative solution combined with strong business plan and financial forecasts that attracted equity funding to make their dreams a reality. The business has a patented product and possesses the potential to become a key player in the sector very.”

Co-founder of Innovation Makers, Markus Warwick added: “This is a tremendous achievement. Winning Business Start-Up and being nominated a runner-up in the Welsh Business of the Year Award, truly stand as testament to the progress made over the past few months. We’re both delighted and honoured to have been recognised through these awards.”
