Kiddy Energy Pro gets ‘Best Group 1’ from Which? magazine
Kiddy’s latest Group 1 car seat the Kiddy Energy Pro has just been given a Which? Best Buy award, for being the best design in its class, for children between nine and 18kg. The model received an overall rating of 79% in this thorough trail, which makes it Kiddy’s best car seat ever!
Describing the Energy pro as ‘an excellent seat’, the report went on to specify its advantages –

• easy to strap in the child
The report says, ‘The car seat fairs well in front-end and side-impact collisions, and the child is exposed to low loads, as the impact shield does its job. At just 4kg, it’s a very light-weight seat and it’s easy to handle and install. The instructions in the handbook and on the seat are clear. Head support is excellent and the leg support is good. The car seat gives the child a good view from the seat, despite the jutting shoulder and head wings, which are key to providing excellent side-impact protection. The seat is quite tall so it’s suitable for larger children.’
So what’s new about this impact shield Group 1 car seat?
• Kiddy has further refined the safety materials used, so the unique ‘honeycomb’ layer that acts like a crumple zone around the head and chest areas, is even more shock absorbent.
