Kooltrade donates 4moms mamaroo's to Royal Hospital for Sick Children

Kooltrade Ltd have recently donated 4moms mamaroo’s to The Royal Hospital for Sick Children (Yorkhill), Glasgow as part of a Hospital Donation Scheme they are undergoing here in the UK

4moms originated in the US and over the last couple of years since the brand has come to the UK – parents here have really taken to it.

With over 6,000 UK Facebook fans and great feedback from parents of it helping their babies to get to sleep and also assisting with reflux issues, the mamaroo mirrors the ‘bounce and sway’ movement that parents do when soothing their child so that their baby feels safe and comfortable.

Parents like that their baby is being comforted in the same way as they do whilst freeing up some time for them.

4moms already work with many specialist children’s hospitals in the USA and they regularly donate mamaroo’s to various departments to help parents, nurses and babies. Kooltrade have selected a variety of specialist hospitals in the UK and Ireland to implement the same support over here and Yorkhill Children’s Hospital in Glasgow is the first hospital they have donated to.

About the mamaroo:
Parents don't vibrate like bouncy seats or swing like swings. They bounce and sway, and that's what the mamaroo does: it moves like you do. The 4moms team used motion sensors to measure the movements of real mums and dads as they soothed their babies and replicated those motions in the mamaroo. It's the only infant seat with five different motions; all modeled after the natural movements parents make to comfort their babies. 4moms say: ‘It isn't just another infant seat. It's our baby, and we made it for yours.’
