Lansinoh does deal with Lullaby Trust to raise funds

Leading breastfeeding and baby products brand Lansinoh has announced a new partnership with The Lullaby Trust, which will help the charity to raise important funds.

Together both organisations they are committed to supporting families and their babies. As part of this ongoing commitment and to mark its partnership with the national charity, Lansinoh has launched the Happy Tummy Club, a popular online community dedicated to supporting mums on their journey through pregnancy and post birth.

The Lullaby Trust, providing expert safer sleep advice for babies, will benefit from a donation of £1,000 for every 10,000 new mums that sign up to the Happy Tummy Club.

Francine Bates, the Chief Executive at The Lullaby Trust commented, “As the UK’s leading charity working to prevent Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), The Lullaby Trust is proud to join such a trusted and long-standing breastfeeding brand. Their support will enable us to reach more families with our advice on how to reduce the risk of SIDS.

“The Lullaby Trust support Lansinoh with their aim of helping mums breastfeed for longer, and our research has consistently shown that there is a reduced risk of SIDS in breastfed infants. Exclusive breastfeeding (i.e. those who have never fed with formula milk) is associated with the lowest risk, but breastfeeding of any duration may be beneficial for lowering the chance of SIDS compared to formula feeding alone”

Lottie Haigh, Lansinoh’s Senior Brand Manager added, “Traditions and techniques in several aspects of caring for your baby have changed as the years have evolved, and we recognise the hard work and commitment The Lullaby Trust demonstrate in working towards lowering the SIDS rate in the UK. Breastfeeding is one of several ways that the risk of SIDS can be reduced, so our combined passion makes our sponsorship all the more relevant. We are committed to fundraising for The Lullaby Trust so that they can continue to offer support, for example with their Care of Next Infant (CONI) programme and bereavement support services.’
