Little tree shortlisted

Natural baby products range, little tree, has been shortlisted in two categories in the 2017 Best Baby and Toddler Gear Awards.

The awards celebrate the best baby and toddler-related products available on the market, with hundreds of parents testing each item entered in order to select the winners.

Having launched to the UK market at the Harrogate Nursery Fair earlier this year, the little tree eco-friendly nappies have been shortlisted in the ‘Eco-Friendly Nappy’ category, while the brand’s hypoallergenic baby skincare range has been nominated for the ‘Skincare – Baby’ award.

Using wood pulp produced from sustainably managed forests, little tree’s eco-friendly nappies are dermatologically tested, passing skin-sensitivity trials at DermaTest’s professional dermatological laboratories in Germany. Working to the strictest EU standards, the nappies also use specially designed ink for its unique prints, which comply with restriction of hazardous substances (RoHS).

In addition to the dermatologically tested nappies, the hypoallergenic baby skincare range offers a host of products that have been designed with the needs of babies with sensitive skin in mind. Within this range is little tree’s hypoallergenic body wash, which has a consumer satisfaction score of 99.7%, contains no preservatives, artificial fragrances or silicone oil and has been highly praised by the Baby Product Association (BPA).

Paul Maloney, CEO of little tree, said: “To be nominated in one of the industry’s most renowned and prestigious awards schemes after only launching to the UK market earlier this year is a fantastic achievement.

“Since the UK launch we’ve experienced growing demand from retailers to stock the little tree range, indicating that the collection is being well received by both stockists and consumers alike.”
