Child safety specialist Clippasafe is extending its popular auto range with two new products designed to increase comfort and safety on car journeys. The new additions, The Advanced Bump Belt and Secure-Belt Travel Pillow, will be showcased at this month’s Harrogate Nursery Fair alongside Clippasafe’s new range of safety gates.
Following the success of the Bump Belt, which helps to protect both mother and unborn child in the event of a bump or crash, Clippasafe is now launching the Advanced Bump Belt.
Designed for use from two months pregnant up to birth, the Advanced Bump Belt ensures the seatbelt lies across the lap and does not ride up onto the pregnancy bump. In an impact, the pressure is safely transferred through the hips and pelvis, instead of the womb, reducing the risk of serious injury. Made from non-slip fabric, the Advanced Bump Belt offers maximum comfort to expectant mothers and fastens around the seatbelt using secure press-studs.

Even minor bumps can be dangerous for pregnant women and their unborn children, so it’s important that they take measures to make their journeys as safe as possible.”
In addition to the Advanced Bump Belt, Clippasafe is also launching the Secure-Belt Travel Pillow. The pillow fits to the shoulder strap of any seatbelt or car seat harness to increase comfort on car journeys.
For use from one year old to adulthood, the Secure-Belt Travel Pillow is made from a luxurious velvety material, comes in three sizes, ages 1-3, 3-8 and 8 to adult, and is available in pink and black.
Roger adds: “Travelling with young children can be stressful, especially on long journeys. The Secure-Belt Travel Pillow has been specially designed to provide a comfortable cushion, whilst supporting the child’s neck to prevent stiffness.”
