Dragons’ Den entrepreneur, Tej Lalvani takes a bite into baby teething brand Matchstick Monkey

Tej Lalvani - Dragons’ Den investor and healthcare specialist, is delighted to confirm his new investment in Matchstick Money, the award-winning innovative teething and baby products brand.

Joining fellow Dragon, Touker Suleyman, who, together with his team, has already built the business into an extremely successful venture, Tej’s skills will further contribute to the brand’s success. Capitalising on his position as one of the UK’s leading experts on retailing health products, as CEO of Vitabiotics, the largest vitamin company in the UK, Tej will bring his unrivalled knowledge of the healthcare and pharma industries to Matchstick Monkey.

This move demonstrates the teething brand’s serious commitment to forge ahead with their entry into the international pharmaceutical industry – a vision that will see Matchstick Monkey become a staple on the shelves of pharmacies.

Tej joins at an exciting time for Matchstick Monkey; as the fun, colourful teething toys that let babies self soothe, thanks to their innovative design, are going from strength-to-strength. Celebrating several award wins, and with a focus to expand their retail offering into new sectors, most recently with launch of the brand new Animals range –  Matchstick Monkey has received glowing praise and impressive interest from keen fans around the world.
