Bambino Mio making change

Parents from all over the UK joined forces with thousands of families worldwide on the 23rd April to set a new World Record

Parents from all over the UK joined forces with thousands of families worldwide on the 23rd April to set a new World Record. The Great Cloth Diaper Change set a Guinness World Record for the number of reusable nappies changed at any one time, regardless of time zones, across multiple venues around the World to celebrate Earth Day and promote the environmental, financial and health benefits of choosing reusable nappies.

Reusable nappy manufacture Bambino Mio, based in Brixworth, Northampton, held an event at Kiddicare in Peterborough which was attended by families from all over the country. Unofficial figures suggest that in total approximately 7,000 children from 177 events in 10 different countries ‘made a change’ into a reusable nappy at 5:00pm GMT.

The event was a fantastic achievement and everyone who turned up received a complimentary Bambino Mio nappy. Guy Schanschieff Managing Director of Bambino Mio said ‘It is great to meet so many people who are enthusiastic about real nappies and want to share the environmental, health and financial benefits. The event was a real success has created a lot of P.R and interest in the whole reusable nappy industry. The success of the event this year has made the organisers already plan next year’s event to break the record again.’
