Medela, one of the world’s leading breastpump provider is committed to delivering product excellence and today, thanks to an announcement from Which?, the UK’s independent consumer experts, they can be confident that they are. Having been awarded two of the organisations prestigious Best Buy symbols of distinction, for its Swing and Mini Electric breastpumps, Medela are understandably keen to share the news.
Medela is the first ever breastpump manufacturer to receive not one but two of the trusted awards from Which? A Best buy is awarded to products that perform to exceptionally high standards during rigorous testing and analysis. They cannot be bought or influenced and as a result are considered a true stamp of product quality that consumers can trust.
Scoring 70% and 68% respectively Medela’s Swing and Mini electric were the first and second most highly rated pumps, picking up the Top scoring Breastpump and Lightweight and Compact Best buy. Mothers commented that the Swing was " comfortable, efficient, quick and easy to clean’*. They were equally positive about the Mini Electric saying that it was ‘really easy to use', 'easy to transport' and that it had 'lasted for two babies, so good value for money.'**
These results came from one of the widest independent breastpump researches ever undertaken in the UK, and are based on a combination of survey results from over 500 mothers with the results from Which?’s own unique lab testing.
