Milestones Canterbury - A new adventure

After an eventful Christmas marked by a smash and grab at their Whitstable Shop and their expansion into new premises, situated near to the impressive Canterbury Cathedral, January has brought a much-needed time to breathe

The new shop offers many great new product lines. One of which is maternity wear. This is something close to their hearts, as owner, Alexandra Schick, had to travel over 40 miles when she was pregnant to the nearest shopping centre and found the experience quiet unsettling.  Some really great brands have come on board for this, such as Isabella Oliver and Bravado. Milestones are in talks with Seraphine, Noppies and Esprit and hopefully they will end up with a really well rounded selection.

The team went to visit this years CFC in Cologne and they were impressed by the great selection of brands and Fashion Shows. The standout collection for them was by Aston Martin, with a distinct ‘1930’s Berlin’ feel, it ticked all the boxes.

Alexandra told Nursery Today: “We have kept many of our best sellers in the Canterbury Shop, such as Storksak, Pacapod, Ewan the Dream Sheep and Djeco Toys and Interiors. Running two businesses while raising two small children is certainly an adventure but it is also incredibly rewarding.”
