Munchkin, Inc. appoints Marketing Manager to handle UK brand launch
Following its successful acquisition of the UK’s number one safety brand, Lindam, leading American baby brand Munchkin Inc. has announced the appointment of new UK marketing manager Mike Shaw.
Mike joins from Newell Rubbermaid, a global marketer of consumer and commercial products, where he worked on leading household brand names including Dymo and Irwin. With over eight years experience successfully marketing UK brands, Mike will be using his expertise to implement strategic planning and drive the launch of Munchkin in to the UK and European nursery market.
Mike states: “It is an exciting time to be joining Munchkin with the recent growth and expansion in the parenting arena. 2010 will see the launch of Munchkin in to the UK and European market and we intend to make a splash!”
Managing Director of Lindam, Mark Rycroft, adds: “Working with Munchkin will allow Lindam to more than double it’s offering to the baby and toddler market. We are very excited to have Mike on board and look forward to the many activities he has planned to take the brand forward in the UK and Europe.”
