Triple award win for Britax at Mother & Baby awards
Britax has picked up three gongs, including two gold awards,at the Oscars of the nursery industry, the 2011 Mother & Baby awards, judged by over 600 mums
The Britax SAFEFIX plus won Gold in the Best Car Seat – Group 1 category, with the Britax B-DUAL with second seat unit also taking Gold in the Best Twin/Tandem category. The B-DUAL was a double award winner on the night, taking a Bronze in the Best Travel System category as well as the Gold award.
The real-life mum judges loved how easy to install and adjust the Britax SAFEFIX plus was, with particular emphasis on the safety and ease of use of the ISOFIX system which connects the seat securely to the vehicle. Testers were also impressed with the stylish look of the seat and how comfortable it was for their children.
The flexible B-DUAL was a hit with the judges for its CLICK & GO adaptors, which allow for a car seat to be easily and quickly attached to convert the pushchair into a travel system. The judges also loved the versatility, good handling and suspension of the B-DUAL, as well as it’s small footprint both in use and when stored. The five point safety harness, easy access shopping basket, adjustable handle height and multi-position recline were also highlighted as top features. One of the judges commented that it was a pushchair “designed by a mum for a mum!”
