BPA industry awards open for entry

The Baby Products Association (BPA) has announced that the 2012 Baby and Nursery Trade Awards (BANTAs), which take place at Harrogate Nursery Fair from 25th to 27th March 2012, are now open for entry

These prestigious industry awards are open to all exhibitors at Harrogate Nursery Fair and give recognition to some of the best and most innovative baby products on the market.

This year there is a change in categories and the BPA believes that this will encompass a wider and more varied range of products than in previous years. These include Child Restraints; Wheeled Goods; Playtime; Sleep Accessories; Travel Accessories; In Home; Safety; and Feeding, Cleaning and Changing. In addition, a minimal entry fee of £75 plus VAT has been introduced to cover administration costs.

Robert Anslow, BPA managing director explains: "Last year the number of entries to the BANTAs was absolutely overwhelming with many companies submitting numerous entries. This made the judging process extremely costly and time consuming, so by introducing a small administrative fee, we hope that exhibitors will be more selective with their entries, submitting only the best and most innovative products from their ranges."

Closing date for entries is 28th February 2012 and we apologise that no late entries will be accepted. Shortlisted products will be advised prior to Harrogate Nursery Fair and exhibitors will be required to deliver these items to the Organiser's Office by 6pm on Saturday 24th March 2012 ready for final judging.
