Sheena Woods is announced as 1st Runner Up for the Entrepreneur of the Year!
The MaByLand Team were delighted when they heard the news that Sheena had been Shortlisted earlier this summer for the Merton Entrepreneur of the Year Award, and since then they have been eagerly awaiting the results
MaByLand are all thrilled to announce that Sheena Woods the founder of MaByLand is 1st runner up and she has been Highly Commended for the Entrepreneur of the Year 2011 at the Merton Business Awards!
2 days after returning back from the Kind und Jugend Exhibition in Cologne, Germany, Sheena threw on her party dress and attended the fabulous Black Tie Event in true Wimbledon style at the All England Lawn Tennis Club on Wednesday evening.
This year’s Merton Business Awards have been developed by South London Business, Merton Council and the Merton Chamber of Commerce, in order to reward and celebrate the many dynamic and innovative businesses in the borough.
After a wonderful drinks reception, the nominees were escorted to their tables where they enjoyed a superb three course meal, and afterwards the winners were announced!
Sheena said “There were so many entries from fantastic businesses; I just can’t believe I am the 1st runner up, coming 2nd is an amazing achievement, I’m utterly thrilled! This award is special to me as it recognises local business men and women in the Merton area. The ceremony was absolutely fantastic as the venue was incredible, and it was a great chance to meet lots of other entrepreneurs and businesses within my own community!”
Congratulations to Sheena as she truly deserves to be recognised for all of her hard work, we are so pleased that the passion she has for her company has been acknowledged! Fingers crossed for next year!
