Push Tracey over the edge

Please sponsor GT editor for this year’s Cardgains charity challenge

GREETINGS Today editor Tracey Bearton (sister publication of Nursery Today) is about to be pushed right over the edge – well, the Edges Of The Rainbow as she’s taking part in the Cardgains annual charity challenge tomorrow (Thursday, June 23).

It’s a 20-mile walk in aid of the Rainbow Trust, who are celebrating 30 years of supporting families with sick children, and there are lots of edges involved as the route goes from Derwent Reservoir to Chatsworth House in Derbyshire.

Tracey said: “If you can spare even just a couple of quid for me and my dodgy ankle – long story involving a charity parachute jump many years ago – please, pretty please, go to to sponsor me.

“And do mention me or Greetings Today in the message bit so they know we’re actually raising some money. Thank you in advance to anyone kind enough to help out.”

There are now 31people signed up to take part in this year’s challenge organised by the Sheffield-based buying group, including Spring Fair Portfolio Director Nick Davison , along with Cardgains joint MDs Chris Dyson and Steve Grocott with Marketing Director Penny Shaw.
