Russell’s right for toddlers again

SweetDreamers’ loveable Russell the Dream Sheep Dog has another sought after award under his collar.

The adorable companion created to comfort toddlers has been awarded Silver in the Best Toy category in the Right Start Best Baby Essentials Awards.

The annual Right Start Awards are a well-known hallmark of excellence in the baby industry. As well as taking home a much-coveted award, the winning products feature in the magazine’s respected Best Baby Essentials guide, which is distributed to all Tumble Tots members across the UK. SweetDreamers is delighted to now have this benchmark to show customers they are a brand that can truly be trusted when it comes to comforting little ones.

The popularity of Russell the Dream Sheep has gone from strength to strength since his launch just over a year ago.

Now with a collection of impressive awards to his name, it appears that Russell is set to be as famous as his older sibling, the iconic Ewan the dream sheep, and it’s easy to understand why. Russell helps toddlers sleep with his softly changing green and blue glow, which gently lights up the room with a calming colour therapy display. What’s even better is Russell has a voice recorder, so parents, or even grandparents, friends or aunties, can record themselves talking, singing or reading a favourite bedtime story to enjoy for as long as the little one needs.

Commenting on the recent success, Lynda Harding, the founder of SweetDreamers and mother of six said: “We were delighted to learn that Russell won Silver for best toy at the Right Start Awards. When little ones reach toddler age, they often develop a fear of the dark, so it is lovely to know Russell is providing comfort and ensuring the whole family gets the sleep they need.”
