Summer fun never stops with Chicco!

The British weather may not be entirely reliable, but Chicco has made sure the summer fun doesn’t stop with its Summer Display competition for their independent retailers.

Taking place over the summer months, the competition was open to all of Chicco’s independent retailers nationwide to find out who could produce the best summer-inspired Chicco display. Retailers were allowed to be as creative as they liked – the only criteria was that it had to be a display of Chicco products with a summer theme!

Lots of great entries came in from across the country, and it was left to the staff at Artsana UK and Ireland headquarters in North London to cast their votes and crown their winner.

Coming in with a landslide victory was a brilliant beach display from Jack In A Box in Mansfield. Spotted among the display were some of Chicco’s much-loved highchairs, including the fun and colourful Polly 2 Start in the Fancy Chicken character. Also included was the Pocket Snack booster seat, perfect for taking away on holiday thanks to its compact and portable nature. The products were all set against a stunning beach sanctuary with palm trees, beach balls and even a cameo from Nemo himself to make the whole experience a summer beach extravaganza. 

Joint second were the instore imaginative displays from Baby World Belfast and Simply Baby Lancaster. Baby World Belfast also went for a beach theme, with appearances from the award winning Chicco Next2Me side-sleeping crib and its accompanying sleep time accessories, as well as the Boppy feeding pillow. Simply Baby Lancaster held their very own summer barbecue theme for the store’s teddy bears. One bear sat in a Pocket Snack booster seat, whilst others lounged on the Chicco Hoopla bouncer, and chilled in the Chicco Miinimo stroller.

Marketing Manager, Holly John, commented, “We are always looking for ways we can go the extra mile to engage our retailers and give them something back. We have a fantastic range of summer time travel friendly products across the board and this was a great way in which to highlight this to both retailers and consumers. We were really impressed with the entries, so much so that we will be bringing back the competition in Q4 with an autumn theme – so get your fallen leaves and pumpkins ready!”
